I was pleasantly surprised by this novel. I feel like the author truly managed to bring us characters who feel real and like someone we could actually know in real life. There were those we felt for and rooted for. And there were those we did not like in the least.

When the rock star she idolized responded to her e-mail, Candi was thrilled. When he started to flirt with her, she thought all her dreams could come true. The fantasy takes over her entire life, but none of it is true. The man of her dreams is not a rock star at all, but a bored office worker whose internet game quickly spins out of control.

Candi is a great lead with charm and naievity .
I loved the fact that this novel focused on troubles and we got to read about them from start to finish.
