Keys to Success…

Satire, Humor, Self-Help

Dear Reader,
Knowledge, success, hope–this book will provide you with none of these things.
For those who are curious to check out the contents and “guidance” provided in this book, I would like to offer a brief, but important warning before you embark on your treacherous journey. I am this book’s editor. I have thoroughly handled, absorbed, and regurgitated the contents of this book over and over again, and while most of the content in this “self-help” book is, in my professional opinion, completely ridiculous and easily recognized as such, I fear that some of you who read this book may sadly find yourselves duped by Joel’s terrible advice.
Speaking modestly, Keys to Success from a Completely Unsuccessful Person represents is a collection of thoughts, ideas, and errant opinions from the delusional mind of a self-proclaimed self-help guru. Somehow, Joel has miraculously and single-handedly compiled more nonsense, utter gibberish, and complete lunacy into one book than any other author in all of human history that I am presently aware of.
Again, while I do believe that the majority of readers will find themselves deeply amused at the sheer idiocy in this anthology of stupidity, I fear that some poor souls may just get sucked into the author’s delusions. For that reason, I have provided this warning to please disregard Joel’s terrible advice. For most readers, I expect and hope that they will be amused by the book’s clear guidance on how not to find success and find humor in what the book attempts to instruct them to do.
Perhaps most importantly, I believe that although my hand was forced to publish this book of unrefined nonsense by Joel and my superiors, Joel will finally be exposed to the world for who he really is–a completely unsuccessful person.

Review

Amazingly funny yet inspiring and enlightening at the same time. Kudos to Joel Cunningham for managing to toe that line and balance the novel so well for his readers. This is perfect for someone who isn’t too sure if a Self-Help novel is for them. If you don’t want to take a self-help as reading someone preaching to you, then this is perfect. The author is goofy and sarcastic throughout while still managing to help you take a step back and take a look at yourself.

Born on the East Coast but raised in the Southwest, Joel Cunningham is co-founder of Parametric Studios in Scottsdale , Arizona., He has worked in marketing for the last fifteen years. He has acted in numerous commercial projects, produced and written for numerous TV and film projects, and is the current host of a film & television review podcast called The Reel Review Podcast. Flower Dog Man

Self Help / Non-Fiction
Mindfulness, Spirituality, Relationships, Motivation, Personal Growth
Date Published: March 2018
 photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png
Nicolas Copernicus rocked the world in 1543 with his realization that the earth was not the center of the universe. The discovery was especially startling because his pronouncement shattered beliefs, beliefs long held by institutions and individuals the world over. Flower Dog Man can have that same impact as the latest instrument to sever fiction from fact for a desperate global audience; one who simply wants peace.
In only 6207 words, Kirk cracks the theological code while bringing the airy notions of spirituality to the readers proverbial door-step. It really is possible to change a person’s life in 45 minutes; and how fitting for a generation hooked on instant gratification. Flower Dog Man leads us on an inspiring journey and gives us the tools for facing the hellish hurdles of the moment to planting our very own Garden of Eden.
There will be thousands of books published this year, but none will have the lasting, genuine affect as Flower Dog Man. If the perpetrators at Sandy Hook, Las Vegas, Parkland, Columbine, Charleston, and Orlando had read and understood the principles of Flower Dog Man, hundreds of people would not have died by their gunfire. If Ratko Mladic, Adolph Hitler, and Bashar al- Assad had read and understood the principles of Flower Dog Man, millions would have been spared their genocide. If Chris Brown, Charlie Sheen, and OJ Simpson had read and understood the principles of Flower Dog Man, their spouses would not have borne the brunt of their domestic violence. If Donald Trump, Rush Limbaugh, and Hillary Clinton had read and understood the principles of Flower Dog Man, their public profiles would be greatly toned down from the weight of their tremendous egos.
The message of Flower Dog Man is already changing lives. Here’s what other are saying:
•”This might just be the best most enlightening read I’ve read in 63 years”- Phil B Nashville

•Your testimony is great and should be heard or read by many. In my opinion, you are right on target!”- Dr Roy Nicks, former President of East Tennessee State University and Chancellor of the Tennessee Board of Regents

•“24 hours after your presentation and we are still glowing”- Laura George– Director of the Oracle Institute

•“I love your messages and life lessons. I am a recovering alcoholic and this spiritual way of looking at life is a gift for me”- follower on Facebook

•“What a great revelation…All ages need to grasp”

•“Kirk, you are a God send”- Member,

• Mercy Triune Mission, Greenville, SC

•“Kirk your profound message has given us all something to think about”- Associate Pastor- Mercy Triune Mission, Greenville, SC

•“You came through as if taught by the Holy Spirit”
Far, far away from the noise and squabble of talk radio, internet blogs, reality tv, and sensational headline news, Flower Dog Man is the new message for the world; and it’s truly a message of peace.
About the Author

From his college days selling Bibles door-to-door to software consulting throughout the country, Kirk has tried to do it all. He’s worked on oil rigs, been a stockbroker, driven 18 wheelers, fathered twin boys, been awarded by President Ronald Reagan, owned his own business, and created Travel Tapes. He has worked overseas and been to every major city in America. Despite the excitement that goes with such an eclectic and independent life journey, Kirk has seen his share of personal frustration and disappointment resulting in a near death experience in 1997. The gift of a friend would help turn his life around and begin a recovery that is nothing less than remarkable. Kirk shares his insight and the lessons learned in his The Awareness Series, which is comprised of two children’s books- Thinking Like Jesus and Norman’s Names, and now Flower Dog Man.
When he’s not on the road, Kirk loves being home in Southwest Virginia with his wonderful wife Tina and their dogs Bear and Saban.

Part-Time Husband

Title: Part-Time Husband

Series: Trophy Husbands #1

Author: Noelle Adams
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 29, 2018
Blurb

On a Wednesday afternoon, I ask Trevor Bentley
to marry me. He might be the most arrogant, obnoxious man I know, but I need
him to be my husband for a year.

There are reasons.
He’s not going to be a real husband. Just
part-time. Yes, I have to live with him. And, okay, I also have to share his
bed. And, sure, he’s the sexiest and most exciting thing to ever happen to my
controlled, organized life.
But still… It’s only a part-time marriage.
I’m not going to give him my heart. I know what I’m doing, and I’m too smart to
fall for my husband.
I hope.

Excerpt

I’m feeling
warm and relaxed when I finally get out of the bathtub. I usually don’t walk
around the apartment unless I’m covered up, but since Trevor isn’t here I just
wrap a towel around me. My hair is piled up messily on my head, and I’m
carrying my bath salts and soap.
I open the
bathroom door and nearly run smack into Trevor.
I give a
little squeal and immediately look to make sure my towel is in place. “I didn’t
know you were home.”
“I just got
back.”
“I was in
the bath.”
“I know
that.” He’s looking very sexy in that end-of-the-day way he has. Five-o’clock
shadow. Slightly loosened tie and collar. Half-lowered eyelids.
God, the
man is hot.
“I could
smell you as soon as I walked in the door,” he adds, the slightly rough words
doing nothing for my flustered state of mind.
“You
smelled me?” I’m thinking all kinds of things at the moment, and none of them
are suitable to share with the man in front of me.
He reaches
over, and I swallow over a quick intake of breath. I think he’s going to touch
me. I want him to touch me.
He touches
my bath salts instead. “This stuff you put in your bath. I smelled it as soon
as I walked in, so I knew you were in the bath.”
“Oh.”
It’s
perfectly logical. And kind of a disappointment.
His hand
moves from the bath salts, and his fingertips slowly trail up my towel to the
bare skin at my collarbone. It’s barely a touch, but it makes my skin flush and
a pulsing begin between my legs.
“What did
you think?” he asks, his voice a little thicker than normal.
“What did I
think about what?” I have no idea what he’s talking about. My brain isn’t
exactly functioning at the moment.
“What did
you think I smelled?”
“I… I
didn’t know.”
“I see.”
It feels
like he sees.
It feels
like he sees all of me.
I’m staring
at his plum-colored tie because it’s safer than meeting his eyes right now. I
don’t want him to know how I’m feeling, how his touch, his presence is
affecting me.
“Melissa?”
“What?”
“Are you
planning to move out of the doorway? I need to use the bathroom.”
And that’s
like a load of bricks on my breathlessness. I’m able to meet his gaze now with
a cool expression as I step out of the doorway.
I’m on my
way out of the room when he says, “We can return to this particular
conversation a little later in bed if you want.”
Damn it.
The asshole
knows exactly what I was feeling just now.
Fortunately
I’m not feeling it anymore.
“I don’t
think so.”
“You sure?”
I turn my
head and see him smirking at me, as if he thinks he’s already won.
He hasn’t
won.
“Yes, I’m
sure. The problem is that any kind of conversation with you involves your
infuriating personality, and that just doesn’t work for me.”
“I think it
does.”
“You think
wrong. And I thought you had to go to the bathroom.”
“I do.
We’ll resume this conversation at a later date.”

Rian Sutter doesn’t usually get hit on in the grocery store, but when she notices a sexy man in a suit checking her out, she thinks maybe it’s her lucky day. Either that or the suit has a thing for sweaty, yoga-pant wearing women with excellent price matching skills.

Crazy Hot Love

Title: Crazy Hot Love

A Dirty Dicks Standalone Novel

Author: K.L. Grayson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 22, 2018
Blurb
Claire Daniels is good at a lot of things, but
dating isn’t one of them. Although she enjoys men of all different shapes,
colors, and sizes, she has one requirement: they must have a job on her
approved-occupation list. It has to be safe, so they can come home every night,
which means no cops, pilots, doctors, ranchers, and absolutely no
firefighters.
She’s kept to her rules thus far—as long as
you ignore the tiny crush she has on Trevor Allen, a crush that cannot move
toward anything physical because Trevor is a firefighter and a rancher.
Not to mention, he’s four years younger than she is and the brother of her two
best friends.
Still, it sure would be nice to have him put
out her fire.
Trevor Allen also has a few rules when it
comes to Claire Daniels: no staring, flirting, smokin’ hot fantasies, or
touching of any kind. He’s been lusting after Claire his whole life, but with a
steady stream of willing women and two demanding jobs to hold his attention,
he’s somehow managed to keep his hands off her.
Until they end up in a bathroom together—a
small bathroom with very little room to move, leaving him pressed against
Claire’s lush curves. What’s he supposed to do when she looks up at him with
those big, green doe eyes and licks her lips? The only thing he can do: kiss
the hell out of her, then convince her it can’t happen again.
Too bad he can’t convince himself.
